Devizes Broadleas Wood

Our verdict

A modest local wood rather than a destination — worth a short stop if you're already in the area, not worth a special trip on its own.

A small woodland on the edge of Devizes near Potterne, brought back into usable condition for local people by a joint project between the Devizes Area Board and Grist Environmental. Not to be confused with the nearby private Broadleas Gardens.

Council-owned woodland — usually free to walk, look for local access notices.
