Our verdict
Not worth a special trip, but a pleasant enough pause if you're in the area — think local park with a stream rather than nature reserve. We couldn't find a usable photo of it online, which tells you something about how under-the-radar it is.
A modest strip of open grassland and broadleaved trees wedged between housing estates in eastern Swindon, with a stream, a small pond and surfaced paths. It's a well-used local green space rather than a destination reserve — dog walkers and short cuts to school, mostly.
A small council-managed park and copse tucked between housing estates, open at all times.
