Our verdict
Not worth a special trip given how difficult parking is, but a fine stop if you're already walking the Wanborough footpaths and want to see a young wood in the making.
An area of newly planted broadleaved woodland on the narrow road towards Wanborough, near Swindon, managed by the Woodland Trust — young trees rather than ancient ones, still establishing themselves.
