Our verdict
A straightforward, moderate climb with good views, and easy to fold into a longer Ridgeway walk if you're already out that way rather than a destination on its own.
A 253-metre hill near Hinton Parva and Bishopstone, just north of the Ridgeway National Trail. A permissive path climbs from the Ridgeway, after it crosses the Bishopstone-to-Ashbury road, up to the trig point at the summit on an easy gradient.
Open access land — you can roam freely on foot.
