Wills Neck

Our verdict

The best all-round view in the Quantocks and a surprisingly short climb from Triscombe Stone — about twenty minutes up a decent track. Exposed at the top and the wind funnels along the ridge, so take a layer even in summer.

The highest point of the Quantocks at 384 metres, crowned by a Bronze Age barrow and a trig pillar. On a clear day the view takes in Exmoor, the Brecon Beacons, the Mendips, the Blackdowns and Dartmoor from a single spot.
