A proper leg-stretch with a real view at the top, but it's exposed downland-meets-heath rather than sheltered woodland, so check the weather. Parking and dog rules are TBC.
One of the highest points on this stretch of the South Dorset Ridgeway, with a tumulus and trig point at the summit and open views south towards the Jurassic Coast and north over the heaths towards Wareham Forest.
