A quieter way onto Golden Cap than the Seatown or Langdon Hill approaches, at the cost of a longer climb before the views open up. Watch for livestock in the fields en route.
The Morcombelake approach to Golden Cap, climbing from the A35 side through farmland and scrub rather than along the coast path itself. Part of the same National Trust estate as Langdon Hill and Stonebarrow.
