Open access down land on the South West Coast Path between Eype and Thorncombe Beacon, where archaeologists found evidence in 2009 of west Dorset's oldest human settlement — a Bronze Age hearth and fire pit. The path climbs steeply from Eype Mouth with the sea opening up below.
