A commuter path that moonlights as a wood. You come here because it's on your doorstep and dead flat, not for wilderness — but as urban tree cover goes, Bath could hardly do better, and it feeds straight into the Two Tunnels loop when you want more.
The old Somerset & Dorset trackbed through south Bath, now a tree-lined green corridor running from Oldfield Park towards the Two Tunnels Greenway. Flat, buggy-friendly tarmac under a proper canopy, with cuttings full of birdsong.
A public greenway on the old Somerset & Dorset railway line, open at all times and shared with bikes.
