Our verdict
A well-loved local park with genuinely good harbour views and enough space for a decent walk — the dedicated dog walkers' car park and off-lead training areas make it easy to plan around, though it does get busy on weekends.
The northern fringe of Upton Country Park, on the shore of Poole Harbour, where open parkland and meadow give way to woodland paths and a walled garden around the Georgian Upton House.
