Our verdict
One of the best views in the whole of Poole Harbour for very little effort — a short walk from the Arne car park to a genuinely lovely outlook. Dogs must stay on a short lead throughout the reserve, so it's a scenic amble rather than a run.
A viewpoint on the RSPB Arne reserve where a low hillock behind the beach gives a sweeping view over Poole Harbour, with Brownsea Island and its scatter of smaller islets set out across the water. A large herd of sika deer roams the surrounding fields and shoreline.
