A relaxed, flat woodland walk that's easy on paws and popular with locals rather than tourists — a good year-round alternative when the coastal spots are heaving. Some sections are being cleared to restore heath, so expect a changing landscape from one visit to the next.
A 612-hectare Forestry England block on the Rempstone Estate, mixing conifer plantation, broadleaf woodland and heathland restoration as part of the wider Purbeck Heaths National Nature Reserve. A largely traffic-free network of tracks, including the Rempstone Ride, runs through the forest between Norden and the coast road.
