Our verdict
Not open to the public, so don't plan a walk here — it's listed for completeness, but there's nothing to visit. Sandford Orcas itself, with its manor and church, is worth the detour instead.
A narrow strip of mature hedgerow at Sandford Orcas, given to the Woodland Trust in 1983. At under a fifth of an acre it's really a hedge, not a wood — mixed deciduous species with a couple of mature beeches.
